Reed Gym

Reed Gym is the refurbished home of Idaho State women’s basketball, tennis, and volleyball. Featuring a seating capacity of 3,040, the building was remodeled in 2002 and it reopened officially on Dec. 17, 2002. Reed gym is also the home of the men's basketball team on occassions when Holt Arena is unavailable.

In the August of 2010, Reed Gym announced the opening of a new addition, the Student Recreation Center, giving Reed nearly 100,000 square feet of recreational opportunities. Additions include added weight and endurance facilities, additional classrooms and teaching facilities, as well as open and window viewing areas to the four indoor tennis courts. Other ammenities include racquetball courts, an auxiliary gym, a track, climbing wall, swimming pool, and spinning/multi-purpose rooms.

In the fall of 2010, new locker rooms were also built for the volleyball, softball, and men's and women's basketball teams. The new locker rooms feature individual cubby's with drawers which can be personalized to each athlete's liking. The new team rooms are also equipped with flat screen televisions and surround sound. The athletes use these rooms to prepare for practice and games and also as a study area.

From Boise:
Take I-84E, merge onto I-15S, take exit 69 (Clark St.), turn left onto 15th, 15th ends in front of Reed Gym. For parking turn left onto Martin Luther King and right into the parking lot.

From Salt Lake City:
Take I-15N, get off on exit 69 (Clark St.), turn left onto 15th, 15th ends in front of Reed Gym. For parking turn left onto Martin Luther King and right into the parking lot.
